It must have been quite a scene to watch the mighty king of Babylon listening intently to the words of a young Jewish captive. And it must have been a humbling experience for the king to realize that it was not he who had conquered nations and kingdoms. It was, in fact, God who had enabled him to conquer and who now allowed him to rule such a vast empire.
